How to Add the Subdomains in windows customer Accounts ?
Subdomains allow you to access different directories by using a domain name which you do not have to register. For example, if you want to access forums on your site, you can create forums.domain.com and link it to the directory that your forums are in. Any current subdomains will be listed under Current
Sub-Domains. The following procedure will guide you to add a sub domain under your Windows customer account.
[1] Access your control panel at https://www.yourdomain.com:8443 [ Example
:https://www.brainsindia.com:8443 ]
[3] Click on the Sub Domains Icon .
[4] Click on the Button ADD .
[5] Supply the Sub Domain Name.
[6] If you want to use the same FTP user as that of the main domain then Select Use the same FTP user as that of the main domain.
[7] Click on Update.
[8] If you wish to have separate FTP for your sub domain, choose the second option i.e.,Create a seperate user account for this sub domain .
[9] Supply the necessary details like the FTP username and Password and Click on Update.
